On-boarding

We created a 30-day on-boarding program to make sure all new colleagues have time to get settled, to get to know the team, culture and best practices. All within a supportive, transparent and inclusive environment.

Developing

A 6-month development plan to give assistants a solid foundation of basic knowledge and skills. Headroom EAs can choose their personalized learning journey among the 25 courses available on our Academy platform. So they start growing from day one. Buddies, Coaches and Trainers are there to help, since we are all part of the same team.

Advanced

Headroom trains the best EAs based on our experience, best practice and knowledge. EAs foster their career at Headroom by assisting different members and challenging growth environments. Decision making, negotiation, finance, project management and leadership are skills that EAs can develop in this phase.

Expert

Like our ambitious members, we never settle nor stop learning to keep growing. We bring out the best in our employees by facilitating opportunity to learn, grow and develop. This phase is for high-level performers with strong adaptability to a wide range of responsibilities and member profiles. For real team players and proactive assistants.

Expert & EA Coach

Already an expert and looking for leadership opportunities? You can become an EA coach. This phase is for EAs with exemplary work behaviour and ethos, who always strives to be (and stay) the best in their field of expertise.

Headroom is a remote-first team with colleagues with different backgrounds and nationalities. When we interview each applicant, we look for skills such as:

  • Communication and empathy
  • Team player and collaboration
  • Accuracy and persistence
  • Decisiveness and leadership

You can apply to the job opening with a short motivation along with your CV. We will get back to you within 14 days, but strive to contact you as soon as possible. 

Normally, there are two interview rounds and we ask for a reference. The process starts with a 30-min. introduction per video with our one of our recruiters, a second interview with the Manager and a final interview for any last questions. 

If there is a match, we will follow-up with an offer and employment agreement. Once signed, you will be introduced to our team & academy for the onboarding.

With 10 years of experience, best practices and know-how we built the first EA management software that includes:

  • a global task management tool
  • best practices for work-flows and tasks
  • access to our Academy consisting of 25 learning journeys
  • working in squads with the best EA colleagues possible 
  • capacity planning for holidays or sick-leave
